Hi All,
Ian is now officially past the 11 month mark and heading at top speed towards his first birthday. If I could sum up the last month of Ian's life in one word I think it would be 'curious'. He is into everything he can get his hands on, and unfortunately most of it then ends up in his mouth. Ian has really been enjoying having play dates with Matthew, who is also becoming more and more active every time I see him (practically crawling now!). Ian is still learning what it means to share his toys - but I'm sure he'll catch on before too long.

Ian is getting closer to walking. He has very good balance and will stand for up to 30 seconds on his own before sitting down. He can even squat while holding on and then rise back up to standing. I think its really just a matter of him getting the confidence to try it.

Ian had a very exciting 11 month birthday. He got up early and went swimming with Mommy, Daddy, Uncle Gary and Auntie Tif and had tons of fun in the pool. We then went out for Sushi, and Ian got his very own dish of avocado and rice - which he seemed to enjoy both eating and smearing all over the table. We had planned to go to the park in the afternoon but since it was raining we waited until the next day - which we were happy we did because it was 18 and sunny!

He FINALLY got his first tooth this month. Its still just a little nubben - one of the bottom left front teeth - but its there. Its been a real adventure with Ian the past month - he's always on the go, wanting to try every new thing he can - and I'm sure we are only in for more adventure as he continues to grow!
