Wow, life with a newborn is one crazy time! The days just seem to blend together and fly by - and all I'm really getting accomplished on any given day is a lot of feedings (a full-time job and then some!). Ian is growing and doing well - so its all worth it in the end.
Ian has had some important events in the last week, so I thought I'd share some pics:
Ian with Dad - all dressed up for his first outing: to Great-Grandma's house for Easter.
His first long car ride:
Home after a wonderful visit to Auburn.
Ian after his first real bath
(Dad did not want me to take or post any naked bath pics - so all I have are the after photos...)
Ian did great with his bath - no crying at all!
It did seem to take a lot out of him though...
Sucking his thumb.
Having some floor play time.
Snoozing in his swing.
Snoozing in his crib.
Hanging out in his carseat - wanting to go for a walk in his stroller.
Ian seemed to enjoy his first stroller ride - although he did sleep through most of it.
Ian also learned how to take a bottle of breastmilk from Dad this week - freeing me up to leave for short periods of time. So far I've used my free time to take naps, but I may actually venture from the house by myself this weekend - should be exciting!
Love Amanda
