Ian is 5 months old!

Hi All,

It's Ian's 5 month birthday today!  He has really taken off this last few weeks.  He can now roll over (only from back to tummy - but he's really good at it!), he can sit on his own (I just have to leave a few pillows around him in case he gets over-zealous in his reaching and topples over) and he has even started practicing eating by taking his vitamin D drops with a spoon!  He has also started getting very curious about anything and everything in his eyesight, and started reaching for it.  He especially likes to grab noses, lips, eyes and hair - so I have to make sure his nails are trimmed nice and short or David and I end up with very scratched up faces.  He is also starting to ask to be picked up by reaching out his arms - a nice advancement in communication from just crying or screaming.

Ian also seems to be very curious about his new cousin Matthew (Happy One Month Matthew!).

Ian also went on a couple of exciting trips in the last couple of weeks.  First a quick day trip to Buffalo for some shopping.

Ian's other big trip was to the family cottage up at Sauble Beach.
